The funds to support the activities of SLEHC come from the annual investment income (net inflation) of the Designated Principal, a $150 million endowment held by the St. Luke's Episcopal Foundation.

Through the Healthcare Philanthropy Committee, SLEHC seeks additional gifts and donations from individuals and external organizations on behalf of both St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and SLEHC.
