Whenever Community of Hope members gather, they begin and end with prayer and worship. Prayer, the universal language of faith, draws persons of great diversity into a spiritual oneness: the body of Christ.

Through Christian meditation, silence and stillness, the soul is awakened to the presence of the Holy Spirit and the ear of the heart is opened to listen to God. Prayer in community is like the hub, the still point of a wheel, which creates momentum for ministry. The outer rim grounds us in God through Christ, binding us together. Benedict saw prayer as a continuous movement, empowering and reflecting all that we are and do.
