Charities Names Community Research and Projects Manager 

HOUSTON (Feb. 15) – William Troy Bush has been named Community Research and Projects Manager for St. Luke's Episcopal Health Charities. Bush has been Coordinator of Research for the Charities since June 2008. In his new role, Bush will provide project management and ensure compliance in corporate integrity, national benchmarks, and regulatory standards.

Bush will work with all levels of management to identify and lead initiatives to enhance the research, financial and quality goals of the Charities, as well as lead the highly-skilled staff that develops and supports community research, including Community Research Teams and Faculty Members. In addition, Bush will oversee collaboration with community-based organizations including events.

Bush holds a bachelor of science from Stephen F. Austin State University.



Through research-informed grantmaking to Texas nonprofits, St. Luke's Episcopal Health Charities, a separate component of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System, improves community health and reduces health disparities.  Our Center for Community-Based Research is dedicated to community-based participatory research practices that foster informed action, collaboration and empowerment for the medically underserved and other vulnerable populations.
