Marlynn May PhD Named CCPH Featured Member

Featured Members are recognized and honored for their extraordinary service to the promotion and advancing of Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) locally, nationally and internationally. Dr. May's valued contributions to and through CCPH throughout his career and the work here at the Charities were considered in his selection.   

Selections are made by CCPH only occasionally and potential Featured Members are asked to respond to a set of questions to give the reader a fuller understanding of the philosophy and work of the prospective "Featured Member."

Dr. May is leading the Charities sponsorship efforts with the 2012 CCPH Conference held in Houston April 18-21, 2012. Learn more

Through research-informed grantmaking to Texas nonprofits, St. Luke's Episcopal Health Charities, a separate component of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System, improves community health and reduces health disparities.  Our Center for Community-Based Research is dedicated to community-based participatory research practices that foster informed action, collaboration and empowerment for the medically underserved and other vulnerable populations.
